Biography

ERIK-K has been devastating dance floors across Northern Ireland since November 2004 with his unique and energetic mixing style! Playing sets from punchy electro and tuff house to chunky tech trance and techno, Erik never ceases to amaze crowds with his boundless enthusiasm and stage presence when he plays. Constantly trying to bring something new to his sets, Erik is not afraid to experiment with samples, effects and acapellas in order to create a totally unique experience for the clubbers.

Erik-k’s DJ career to date has seen him work with Northern Ireland’s finest DJs; Mark Wesly [Coach*] Mandy Reid / Armandi [Coach*] Barry McConkey [Coach*] Col Hamilton [Lush!] Gleave Dobbin [Detox records / djgleave.com] Ryan Blair [djryanblair.co.uk] Pete Snodden [Cool FM / La Lea] Jordan X, L.E.D, Chris Davis and Ryan Maxwell as well as supporting some of the world’s finest DJs such as Lisa Lashes, Johan Gielen and Scott Bond.

The raw energy and passion for what he loves most; playing to crowds everywhere and anywhere, has enabled Erik to play at Ireland’s biggest 1 day dance event, Planet Love Festival, as well as countless clubs including Club Soi [Portrush] Club Matrix [Dungannon] Lost @ Precious / Lost @ Elephant room [Belfast] Sin @ Lavery’s [Belfast] Fusion / Club Ink [Ballymena] Hogan’s [Downpatrick] Kernohan’s [Ballymena] Basement Jack’s [Maghera] Melt @ Club Live [Lurgan]. Erik has also appeared on Seven Sessions Radio show [Ballymena] and The source [Cool FM]. Erik-k immense talent has been demonstrated fully with 2nd place in the nation wide KeyMix DJ competition as well as 2nd in4 other prestigious competitions in 2006.

Constantly networking, Erik-k uses his massive database of promoters and influences in the dance music world to help promote himself and to give encouragement and help to other up and coming DJs like himself….. Erik-k is a definite name to look out for over the coming months and years!!!
